Located inside Loreto Bay National Park, Coronado Island is one of the most beautiful and popular destinations in the Sea of Cortez. This approximately five-hour boat tour combines wildlife observation, snorkeling and relaxing beach time in one unforgettable experience.

We depart from Loreto aboard at 9:00 a.m a comfortable 26-foot shaded panga. As we navigate toward the island, you can enjoy panoramic views of the coastline, the Sierra de la Giganta and Coronado’s distinctive volcanic cone.

Our first stops focus on exploring the island’s dramatic rocky shoreline and observing its wildlife. Coronado is home to a resident colony of California sea lions, and when conditions allow, guests may have the opportunity to snorkel near them in their natural environment.

Sea lions are wild animals, so encounters and water conditions vary. Our crew always maintains a respectful distance and follows the regulations of Loreto Bay National Park.

The tour continues to one of Coronado Island’s beautiful white-sand beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, use the paddleboard or simply relax beside the clear turquoise water. Snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and shade are provided.

A fresh ceviche lunch and drinks are served at the beach, giving you time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings before returning to Loreto at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Along the way, you may also see dolphins, rays, sea turtles, tropical fish and seabirds. Wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed, making every Coronado Island adventure different.
