3-Day Baja Coast-to-Coast UTV Expeditions

Cross Baja California Sur from the Sea of Cortez to the Pacific Coast on a three-day Speed UTV expedition through mountains, remote ranch country, desert trails, and coastal communities.
Go beyond a traditional UTV tour on a three-day coast-to-coast expedition across Baja California Sur.
Starting in Loreto on the Sea of Cortez, this guided journey crosses the Sierra de la Giganta and explores remote desert trails, mountain passes, historic communities, working ranches, and sections connected to the legendary Baja off-road races.
Travel aboard a high-performance Speed UTV with professional guides and full logistical support. Each day combines exciting off-road driving with carefully selected stops, regional food, comfortable accommodation, and time to experience the landscapes and communities found far beyond Baja’s main highways.
From the historic mission village of San Javier to the Pacific communities of San Carlos and San Juanico, also known as Scorpion Bay, the route reveals the enormous diversity of the peninsula. The return journey travels through La Purísima and San Isidro before crossing the mountains back toward Loreto.
This is a fully supported Baja expedition designed for travelers who want a genuine multi-day off-road experience without worrying about accommodation, meals, fuel, or logistics.
DAY 1: Loreto-San Carlos:
Depart from Loreto and begin the climb into the Sierra de la Giganta. Stop in San Javier to visit its historic mission before continuing through mountain passes, desert valleys, and remote ranch country toward San Carlos on the Pacific Coast.
After a full day of off-road driving, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in San Carlos.
DAY 2: San Carlos-San Juanico:
Continue north along remote Pacific routes toward San Juanico, internationally known as Scorpion Bay. The day combines desert tracks, coastal scenery, beaches, dunes, and small Baja communities.
Arrive in San Juanico with time to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night near one of Baja’s most famous Pacific bays.
Follow remote Pacific beaches, dunes, estuaries, oyster farms, and fishing camps to San Juanico.
DAY 3: San Juanico-Loreto:
Leave the Pacific Coast and travel inland through La Purísima and San Isidro or Comondu. The route passes palm-lined oases, ranch country, desert valleys, and remote mountain terrain before crossing the Sierra de la Giganta and returning to Loreto.
