Advanced Diver Course in Loreto | Aventuras Tours

Advanced Diver Course in Loreto | Aventuras Tours

Take your scuba skills to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Loreto. Over two to three days, you will complete five Adventure Dives in the clear waters of the Sea of Cortez while developing greater confidence, control and awareness underwater.

The course includes two required dives: Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. You will also complete three elective Adventure Dives selected with your instructor according to your interests, experience, local conditions and available dive sites.

Possible electives may include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Fish Identification, Underwater Naturalist, Search and Recovery or other available specialties. The final selection will be confirmed by the instructor.

This is a practical, experience-based course with less classroom work and more time underwater. You will improve your buoyancy, navigation, depth and air management while learning to adapt to different diving environments.

Loreto Bay National Park provides an exceptional setting for advanced scuba training. Depending on conditions, dives may take place around Carmen, Coronado or Danzante Island, where you can explore rocky reefs, underwater walls, volcanic formations and areas rich in marine life.

During the course, you may encounter sea lions, rays, moray eels, turtles, octopus, nudibranchs, large schools of tropical fish and other species found in the Sea of Cortez. Wildlife sightings vary naturally with the season and dive site.

After certification, adult divers are trained to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres/100 feet, always within their experience, comfort level and local diving conditions.
