Discover Scuba Diving in Loreto (No Experience)

Once you feel comfortable, your instructor will guide you on a carefully supervised open-water dive explaining the basics and teaching you some skills to practice underwater in Loreto Bay National Park. The experience progresses at your pace, with plenty of time to practise, ask questions and build confidence before entering deeper water.
During your first dive, you may explore rocky reefs and underwater formations inhabited by tropical fish, moray eels, rays, pufferfish, sea stars, octopus and other marine life found in the Sea of Cortez. Sightings vary naturally according to the season and dive location.
Discover Scuba Diving is designed for beginners and focuses on comfort, safety and personal attention. Your instructor remains close throughout the dive and adjusts the experience to your ability and confidence level.
The maximum permitted depth for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is 12 metres/40 feet. However, reaching that depth is not the objective. Your actual depth will depend on your comfort, progress and the conditions at the selected dive site.
This experience is not a scuba certification, but it is an excellent first step toward becoming a certified diver. If you love your first dive, you can continue with the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
