Open Water Diver Course in Loreto (3 Days) | Aventuras

Learn to scuba dive in the Sea of Cortez and earn the world’s most widely recognized entry-level diving certification. Our three-day PADI Open Water Diver Course in Loreto combines professional instruction, practical skill development and four open-water certification dives inside Loreto Bay National Park.

The course begins with PADI eLearning, which allows you to complete the theory at your own pace before beginning the in-water training. With your instructor, you will then practise essential scuba skills in calm, controlled water before completing four open-water dives around the islands of Loreto.

During the course, you will learn how to assemble and use scuba equipment, control your buoyancy, communicate underwater, plan safe dives and respond confidently to common situations. Training is progressive and adapted to your comfort level, giving you time to become a safe and confident diver.

Once certified, PADI Open Water Divers can dive to a maximum depth of 60 feet (18 metres) with another certified diver, within the limits of their training and experience.
